Kentucky love and a video post!

It has been so long since my last post, goodness!   We have been on the go for the past few weeks.....literally, I feel like I drive around all day (which is not good with the gas prices....ugh).  But between trips, camps, vbs, swim lessons, ..... we hardly have time to just chill out at home!  But in any spare moment, we've been trying to figure out how to get our video from our camera working happily with my computer (which wasn't that easy....looks like I'll be getting a new computer in the near future.....) but we got it to work this weekend, so I'll post a couple videos below :)

Back on Memorial Day weekend we got to go up to Kentucky to my sister's house!  We had so much fun!  The kids are always so excited to see their cousins!  As soon as we got there, my nephew (who is 14) had his band all ready to play for us (I wish I had my video camera for that...but it was still packed up in the van)...I did manage to take some photos though....and later in the weekend, I got some video of Robbie going solo on the drums (he is 100% self taught.....he got his first drum set when he was in the sixth grade).....so here is the band:

The band was awesome!  They played an original and some covers....they even played a Metallica cover, so I got to brag how I saw Metallica live in 1994, and then I realized that was the year they were all BORN and I felt really, really, really OLD...LOL.  And here is some video of Robbie going solo...The first video is set to private and it's not letting me change the setting right now...grrrr...I'll work on that.

Okay, I was going to make this a super long post,with lots of fun pics from our trip, but I spent too much time trying to figure out that privacy setting and now I have to get ready to take the kids to baseball practice!  I will post again soon!
